Dhakal’s
|
It is a different atmosphere, when a noted and talented singer brings out a new music album for their audience. The same could be felt during the album release ceremony of Ram Krishna Dhakal’s "Saili", on Saturday. Notable music composer, Nhyoo Bajracharya launched the album at the event, where Dhakal’s daughter, Rani welcomed the invitees by singing Dhakal’s “Oraali laageko harinko chaal bho”. Dhakal has included nine songs in the music album, including the ghazal, “Raati raati” and Unnati Bohara’s “Timilai maya garne bhul bhayo ma abate” which is re-recorded in new track. Music composers like Alok Shree, Shikhar Santosh, Raju Singh, Kiran Kadel, Sambhujit Banskota and Bhim Birag have composed the songs in the album. One other notable thing about this album is that it contains the song, “Nadi Tarera” composed by the Late Nati Kaji, and happens to be the last song for which he gave his unparalleled music. In terms of lyrics, Ananda Adhikari, Kiran K.C., Unnati Bohara, Bhim Birag, Nawaraj Lamsal, Dr. Bhola Rijal, Baburam Dahal and Kali Prasad Rijal have contributed to the album. During the event, Dhakal sang some of the songs of the album, and also screened the music videos of “Chuk Chuke Eail” and “Kati Kura”. Music dot com is the distributor of "Saili", which promises to be a great album like Dhakal’s other albums, "Ashirwad", "Asha", "Aagaman", "Aaroha" and "Ashish". Dhakal has tried to include all kinds of songs in the album, and he has also broken away from the tradition of naming his albums from the same starting letter.
